Via Rail offers train services with destinations in Montreal from the Ontario-Quebec and Atlantic Canada routes. The train destination in Montreal takes you to Gare Centrale in Montreal Centre-Ville (downtown).
Flight:
Flights can land you directly in Montreal at the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International airport. After arriving in Montreal you can take public transport (express bus route 747 which services the hotels in downtown Montreal) or a taxi to at the hotel.

Old Port – Montreal | 2-3 stops along the Orange Line (Place-d’Armes or Champ-de-Mars)
Walk the cobblestone streets of Montréal’s Old Port, with galleries, shops, and a beautiful waterfront to explore. The famous Notre-Dame Basilica is located in this area.

Located in the International District, this indoor area is the perfect place to find some quiet from the city, with gorgeous architecture surrounding an indoor stone fountain and infinity pool. Also located at this site is a piece of the Berlin wall for public access.

Place-des-Arts
A common event and festival location in Montreal, with different activities throughout the year. In this area is a shopping centre (Complex Desjardins), performance theatre, restaurants, and museum. It is accessible by metro on the Green Line.
Montreal Museum of Archaeology and History (Pointe-à-Callière)
Learn about the history of Montreal’s Old Port and see the archaeological ruins of some of their first shipping and distribution sites.

Biodôme
Located near the Olympic Stadium and Montreal Botanical Gardens, the Biodôme is a unique collection of natural habitats, housing animals, birds, and reptiles from across Canada and around the world.
Montreal Botanical Gardens (Greenhouses)
Montreal’s greenhouses at the Botanical Gardens are a nice reprieve from the Montreal winter for those who would like to see unique plants. Nearby is the Insectarium which also houses a fascinating collection of little critters.
